G-Quasar, the annual fest of Galgotias University began on March 27th 2015 with a promise to bring fun, excitement and enthusiasm. The much awaited fest was a 3 day event with a range of action packed and fun filled activities. The famous poet, Dr. Kumar Vishnu inaugurated the fest with the lighting of lamp. The welcome speech was given by Dr. Renu Luthera, Director-Galgotias Business School, Dr. Tripathi, Vice Chancellor and Dr. Sunderasan, Director, Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology. G-Quasar witnessed a huge gathering of more than 25000 students, faculty members and guests enjoying with zeal and zest.
Various colleges of Delhi and NCR participated in the numerous events of G-Quasar. Day One observed Anarchy-The Battle of Brands with some scintillating rock band performances. Nukkad Nataks on the same day also received huge acclaim and acknowledgement. The artists with the captivating performances won the hearts of many. Day One also observed ‘Scintillations’, undeniably the major attraction of the evening. The fashion show indeed was a great experience with students walking the ramp wearing the designer wears. That definitely wasn’t all. The audience enjoyed the brilliant and outstanding dance performances of students.
Day two and Day three were packed with grooving celebrity performances by Mika, Honey Singh and the Punjabi kings RDB. All the stars set the stage on fire and crowd went mad in fun.
Security was well taken care of throughout the event.
